A family source said that Romero was arrested by agents of the International Police (Interpol) who in turn handed him over to officers of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in New York who allegedly sought the employer. Another version
unconfirmed claims that Romero was arrested by Immigration Police and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Still not cleared the kind of allegations that have been implemented against the artistic manager, but was informed that the file has been linked to money laundering, drug trafficking, mail fraud and even links to a murder.
The official who requested anonymity because he was not authorized to speak publicly about the arrest early Monday said that Romero's lawyer managed a bond in the Southern District Federal Court in Manhattan. Romero
