Nicolas Cage was arrested on Saturday in the U.S. after reports of a spat with his wife. The actor faces charges of domestic violence and disorderly conduct, authorities said New Orleans. According
TMZ has revealed, Cage was drunk, screaming and pushing his wife in the street, when a taxi driver who was passing by he perceived the situation and called the police.
"Why not arrest me?" Was the challenging question that Cage released two officers when they tried to appease their spirits and convince him to return safely home.
again tried to dissuade him, but the actor kept uttering cries, until the police lost patience and put the handcuffs.
Once at the station, was 'signed' as any other criminal charges of "domestic violence" and "disturbing public order." Cage
confident out on bail within hours and has, apparently with the complicity of his wife.
Cage, 47, and his third wife, Alice Kim, have a son five years old.
His two previous marriages to Patricia Arquette and Lisa Marie Presley ended in divorce.
The winner of the Academy has appeared in dozens of films. Some of the best known: "The Rock", "Raising Arizona" and "Leaving Las Vegas." Thanks to the latter won the Oscar for best actor.
Alice Kim, a waitress with whom he married in 2004 and mother of his son Kal-El, no has brought charges against her husband, claiming that the assault was merely verbal and that "there was no physical contact."
Apparently, both returned to their home in New Orleans after spending the night out. The Cage bought a house "haunted" in the French Quarter of New Orlen in 2007.
